Indoor Winter Activities

We realize there are days during winter when all you want to do are stay at home and watch a movie.  And even though many days of this beautiful winter will be spent on the slopes, we realize the value of winter activities at home as well!  So here are a couple suggestions for those moms looking for activities with their kids and the women looking for activities solo!

When I was a child, some of my favorite memories during the winter season were spent with my family! We would bake goodies for the neighbors, and I was always excited about decorating them with colorful icing.  Speaking of decorations, we would make snowflake cutouts with my sister and hang them on our room walls. This easy, budget-friendly craft was a fun activity that gave our rooms a winter wonderland atmosphere.   And lastly, we would sit by the windows and watch the snowfall in our cozy Christmas pajamas. These were special memories and traditionally done each year.

However, for the women who may have a weekend alone… curl up and read a good book.  Sometimes time is given so much to others, we forget to relax and enjoy the simple things.  Enjoy all the wonderful Christmas sales during this busy season (including shopping online at WinterWomen.com)!  The feeling of being productive while lying in a nice, cozy bed is awesome! And lastly, enjoy a glass of warm hot cider. This delicious treat is sure to warm you up on the coldest of day.

This simple post is a reminder of the simple joys of this wonderful winter season.  And while our passion at WinterWomen.com is providing you with the warmth of the awesome winter activities outdoors, don’t forget to also enjoy the warmth indoors as well!
