In preparation for another epic ski season, SKI Magazine has put out the list of the Top 10 East Coast Resorts for 2011-2012. As we all know, different resorts provide different types of experiences. Some are better for going with five of your girlfriends for a weekend getaway, some are better for a romantic weekend away with your significant other, and some resorts are just perfect for a family-filled weekend with the kids. Thankfully, the editors at SKI Magazine were able to put together a list of resorts that encompass everything a skier may want to experience while going up to the mountain- whether it’s an awesome après ski scene or an offering of activities off the mountain.
SKI Magazine’s Top 10 East Coast Resorts for 2011-2012 are:
1. Tremblant, Quebec
2. Stowe, Vermont
3. Smugglers’ Notch, Vermont
4. Okemo, Vermont
5. Whiteface Mountain, New York
6. Stratton, Vermont
7. Killington, Vermont
8. Sunday River, Maine
9. Sugarbush, Vermont
10. Bretton Woods, New Hampshire
Let us know what you think about these rankings. Is this list missing some great East Coast resorts? Or were they right on with most of them?
Don’t forget, before you get out of your Soho or Cambridge loft and head up north this winter, make sure to check out some new ski clothing for ladies to make sure you’re looking fresh and in style for 2011-2012!
Really…the only NH mnt. you guys have on here is BW’s? what about LOON! or even Watervile….. Some of these reports are kinda wack.. make sure you do this right. It’s for the ladys.
Thank you for your feedback, Missy. I do agree with you that Loon Mountain and Waterville Valley are amazing mountains! However, this list was copied from an article SKI Magazine posted online. Let’s hope their 2012-2013 list includes more NH resorts!
